The research of Arthur Depicker, former master student of KERMIT, has made it into several national newspapers (De Standaard, Het Nieuwsblad and Het Belang Van Limburg) and the news bulletin of the regional Antwerp broadcaster ATV and Radio 2. The work concerns the compilation of the first wildfire risk map for Belgium on the basis of environmental and historical wildfire data.
